Though now that I can associate the name with the song, I'm a little surprised that you like it, since it sounds much more mellow and in line with the music on the Michigan or Seven Swans albums (which now that I think about it, makes sense, since this particular Christmas album -- Vol. 3, Ding! Dong! -- would have been made about that time).

And for what it's worth, I really like "Sister Winter" too, more than "Worst Christmas Ever." I still get chills sometimes when I listen to it.

Oh, and I didn't say this in the blog post, but while I do like "Put the Lights on the Tree", I strangely enjoy it less with the cartoon, which is a surprise, because I usually love Sufjan's artistic arrangements, whether done by him or others. So, hopefully I don't turn people off from the song.Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16676493074041568312noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4615888959479814749.post-81082966531489582312007-12-11T10:54:00.000-05:002007-12-11T10:54:00.000-05:00did you like 'worst christmas ever'?did you like 'worst christmas ever'?Bradhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13905146742810096886noreply@blogger.com
